Announcement
We had a large crew today who worked super hard to complete the job of planting six additional trees and a Rose of Sharon at Sharon's Park. The first tree was planted this past Monday.
It was a fantastic community effort from the dedicated and knowledgeable staff of City Roots, our committed and hard working business people and our caring and enthusiastic residents. Thanks to you all. Those who were not involved today, please go down and take a look.
There will be one more meeting for Sharon's Park at 6 on site this Monday, 08/07/06 (if it rains, we meet at the Sugar Bowl). We would like to go over watering schedules. Watering will done every Monday in teams of two. If you have not had a chance to chip in, this task is your opportunity. Please try to commit to at least one Monday from now to Thanksgiving. After that our beautiful trees can make it on their own. Minona will be putting together Sign Up Schedules and further details will be emailed to this list.
Gratefully,
Mike
